If you are the victim of an accident, natural disaster or medical emergency, Scooter-Relief.org may be able to help.
Our mission is to provide support to members of the scooter community.
I want to thank everyone who helped me up when I fell. I couldn't have turned this around without the love from Scooter-Relief and my friends.
So with my one good arm and my new found second sight, I embark on a mission. I got in that wreck for a reason. Because I don't want what happened to me to happen to anyone else, I am teaching and educating the importance of safety.
90% of my injuries could have been prevented with a full face helmet & proper riding gear. Don't plan on crashing? Neither did I. Not to scare you, but never take riding for granted.
I've raised money for Scooter-Relief in the past and it always feels good to do something for a greater cause. So I'm volunteering here again, working on the website, spreadin da word and whatnot. I must say, it feels a little weird being on the receiving end. I honestly never thought I'd need Scooter-Relief. Hmm...
REMEMBER: Not only am I a volunteer at Scooter-Relief, but I'm also a client!
Keith: Thanks to you, I'll be riding through sprinklers sooner than you know it.
Grant, Camilla, Dr. Jeremy, Kristen, Allison, Robin, Melissa, Allie, Sarah: Thanks for bringing me groceries, giving me rides and whatnot.
Jedi Knight Scooter Club, Uncle Phil & the national scooter community for your distant help. (I love them cards!)
Allie: For being the most amazing new person. If anyone can get through to me, it's you.
9th Ward Records for making the best music in New Orleans... (Okay, that's my label.)
