An Update On Fundraising: Josh Rogers and the General Fund

With the help of over 350 donors we raised over $16,000 for Josh Rogers (who was involved in a serious accident with a car at the beginning of March). I spoke to Josh today, and he is just overwhelmed by the outpouring of support. As anyone who heard about the extent of his injuries can imagine, his medical bills for treatment and recovery are pretty astronomical. The support that we were able to provide with the help of so many is greatly appreciated.

On behalf of Scooter-Relief's board and Josh Rogers, than you to everyone who donated.

I also would like to encourage you to make a donation to the general fund. We have raised about $1250 in the last few months, we need more to ensure that we can help folks immediately, and also so that we can get our tax exempt status.

If you have a rally or other club event coming up, please consider passing the hat, making a contribution from your raffle, or simply asking your fellow scooterists to stop by our site and make a donation.

You can always send us a check and save us the paypal fees.

Thanks again! Keep the rubber side down and enjoy the 2008 season!
